Accessibility 

We are working hard to make our buildings, services and activities as accessible as possible, but it is a work in progress. If you have any thoughts or suggestions please let us know. We especially want you to talk to us about any accessibility needs you have; any member of the Clergy Team is happy to discuss adjustments.

Auditory Needs

  • Hearing loops are available in the following churches: 

    • St Basil, Bassaleg

    • St John the Baptist, Rogerstone

​

  • The use of microphones is standard practice in the following churches: 

 

Please ask if you would find it helpful for a microphone to be used by those leading a service.

Visual Needs

  • Service booklets

Service booklets are available in Arial font, in black text on off white paper, in all churches

Large Text service sheets are available in:

 

  • Lighting

We are working to ensure that church spaces are adequately lit but please let us know if you have any specific needs in any of our church buildings.​

  • Dietary

Gluten Free wafers are available at the Holy Eucharist, on request. 

Please tell us about your dietary needs and we will do our best to provide appropriate food or drink, according to the event. 

Neurodiversity and cognitive needs

  • Service sheets

Service sheets are available in Arial font, in black text on off white paper, in all churches. Please let us know if a coloured background would be useful for you, we are happy to produce them on request.

  • Visual timetables

We are working on visual timetables to accompany service sheets. To help us prioritise, please lets us know if this useful for you. They are currently available for: ​

  • Baptism Services

  • Family Services

  • Sensory

    • Music is played at all eucharistic Sunday services but not weekday services

    • Music is played at family services 

    • All of our churches are heated during services

    • We are working to ensure that church spaces are adequately lit but please let us know if you have any specific needs in any of our church buildings.
